Christopher Lawhorn Elected 95th President of the MAC
Four Other Officers Named

Christopher J. Lawhorn has been elected the 95th president of the Missouri Athletic Club. The Club’s 15-member Board of Governors elected Lawhorn and the other senior officers on Thursday, March 4. All will begin a one-year term of office in May.
Lawhorn, 39, is a partner at Bryan Cave LLP. He joined the MAC in 2001. Lawhorn has served on the Athletic and Membership Committees. He has also served as Chairman for Club events including the Tour de MAC and the Boxing Championships. Lawhorn and his wife Tracy have three children, Abigail, Paige and Gavin.
Elected first vice-president was Edward A. Gilkerson; elected second vice-president was James McMullin; elected secretary was Richard L. Nix and treasurer was L. Wayne McCollum.
Lawhorn will succeed Patrick J. McCarthy as president and take office on May 20.
