The Missouri Athletic Club, holds traditionally in her way, the class and grace of classical fairy-tale wedding receptions. Our enchanting Ballroom filled with crystal chandeliers, high ceilings, and pure elegance, makes the Missouri Room the ultimate wedding experience.

The Art Lounge, located on the first floor of the Missouri Athletic Club, offers an old world ambiance with its unique collection of fine art and antiques, 20 foot ceilings and marble pillars. The Art Lounge is an exquisite site for a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres hour before adjourning to the banquet room of your choice.

The Missouri Athletic Club maintains a highly qualified catering staff that will assist you in planning every detail of your reception. All events are handled with the creativity and expertise you would anticipate from a professional staff.

Wedding Celebration Services
The Missouri Athletic Club realizes that your wedding day is one of the most special days that you and your spouse will share during your marriage. For this momentous occasion, the MAC has several wedding celebration services that will be offered to you for your reception.

The MAC wedding celebration services include:
• A personal catering consultant who will assist you from first contact as well as during and beyond the day of your reception.
• The very best resources of the MAC are made available to you to make this event very special.
• A complimentary tasting of entrée selections with your catering consultant.
• A complimentary overnight room for the bride and groom on their wedding night.
• A bottle of champagne in the overnight room on the day of your wedding.
• White linen, china, glassware, tables, chairs, bars and risers provided by the MAC
• Complimentary garage parking for all guests.
• Our classic wedding cake is complimentary. You can choose the decoration which reflects your own personal style. The Pastry Chef works closely with the catering consultant to create your dream cake.

The cake flavor and style must be selected 3 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Note: The Club offers no centerpieces, mirrors, candelabras, chair covers etc. These would be obtained through a florist or rental company of your choosing.

Additional Service Information
The Missouri Athletic Club designed its Wedding Reception Packet to eliminate any surprise hidden costs. Keeping this in mind, the MAC has listed below additional charges you can anticipate, should you decide to celebrate your reception at the Club.

• All food and beverage purchases are subject to a standard 23% service charge. Additional bartender and server fees may apply in some cases.
• A deposit will be required to confirm your reservation. The amount of deposit for the Missouri Room, Art Lounge and Eads Room is $5,000; the amount for the Crystal Room is $1,500.
• There is a non-member room rental fee of $3,000 for the Missouri Room and $750 for the Crystal Room. There is also a $1.50 set-up fee per person. Please inquire with your catering consultant for more details. In order to waive the room rental, the classification of membership must be Junior Resident or above. Associate members do pay room rental.
• There is a $15 corkage fee per bottle of wine not purchased through the Missouri Athletic Club.
• The MAC shuttle can be provided if available at $75 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
• Dinner, wine and hors d’oeuvres are not included in the package.

DEPOSITS
A Deposit of $5,000 is due with your signed contract. Nonmembers of the MIssouri Athletic Club are required to pay a $3,000 room rental. Additional deposits are listed below.

If one of the above deposits is not made, the bill must be paid in full by a cashiers check, a minimum of three days prior to the event.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUMS
Missouri Room
For a Saturday night event, the person making these arrangements agrees to provide a minimum of $15,000 in banquet food and banquet beverage revenue (excluding service charge). Should the banquet food and beverage revenue fall below this amount, the person making these arrangements will be responsible for the difference.
Crystal Room and Art Lounge
For a Saturday night event, the person making these arrangements agrees to provide a minimum of $5,000 in banquet food and banquet beverage revenue (excluding service charge). Should the banquet food and beverage revenue fall below this amount, the person making these arrangements will be responsible for the difference.


CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be received in writing. In the event of a cancellation, the initial deposit will not be returned. If the date is rebooked, all payments except the initial deposit will be returned.

PAYMENT
The Missouri Athletic Club accepts cash, cashier checks, personal checks, Master Card, American Express and Discover. All events require a credit card on file for any additional fees incurred after estimated balance is paid.

GUARANTEE
The final attendance must be received by 11:00 a.m. three business days prior to the event. This number will be considered a guarantee, not subject to reduction. If a final guarantee is not received by the 72 hour deadline, you will be charged for the expected number on page 1. The final bill will reflect your guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is greater.

TERMINATION FOR CAUSE
This agreement is subject to termination without liability upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond control of either party-- such as acts of God, war, acts of of terrorism, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities or any emergency of a comparable nature beyond the parties' control, making it impossible, illegal or which affects a party's ability to perform it's obligations under this agreement-to the extent that such circumstances make it illegal or impossible to provide or use the Club facilities.

GENERAL
All Banquet food and beverage arrangements must be made through the Missouri Athletic Club. The Missouri Athletic Club reserved the right to cease service of alcoholic beverages in the event that persons under the state mandated age limit are present at the function and attempt to receive service of alcoholic beverages. Missouri Athletic Club further reserves the right to deny alcoholic beverage service to guests who appear to be intoxicated.

The Club will not assume or accept any responsibility for damage to or loss of merchandise or articles left in the Club prior to, during or following the Client's function.

A 23% service charge will be applied to all Food and Beverage purchases.

The Missouri Athletic Club will supply a clean preset banquet room with agreed upon layout and access for deliveries such as linens, china, flowers and entertainment, 2 hours prior to function.
All outside rentals must have pre-approval; certain rental or handling charges may apply.
Arrangements must be made to remove rental or personal items from the premises immediately following the event. We do not assume responsibility for lost or damaged property prior to, or following your function/

The Missouri Athletic Club will honor event pricing up to twelve months prior to the event date.
